Managing Director/Project Manager
Grant Ferguson has 40 years experience, 30 of those managing & directing major civil projects in the civil construction industry throughout Regional Queensland and founded NQ Civil Contractors Pty Ltd in 2007. As Managing Director, he has successfully managed projects involving bridge construction, pipelines, culvert structures and piling (sheet, caisson, precast piles), as well as pump stations, sea walls and pontoons. He possesses extensive major project management experience ($11 million+) working to DTMR and QR specifications.
Administration Manager
Linda has been involved in numerous businesses over the past 40 years all within the construction or hospitality industry. She has in-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the maintaining of all records to reflect the status of each project. Her experience is shown in the attention to detail in the general running of businesses main office and the project administration.
QSE Manager
Dennis has recently started with NQCC. He is a highly experienced health and safety manager with over a decade of hands-on experience working in diverse sectors such as Emergency Services, Council, Defence, as well as mining and civil projects. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated his ability to effectively manage and mitigate risks associated with different work environments across Australia.
Project Manager
David has 28 years of experience in the industry, with 15 of those in Supervisory roles on multimillion dollar infrastructure projects specializing in Bridge, Road and Mine construction. He possesses an in-depth knowledge of technical standards, WH&S, daily risk analysis, managing site safety, problem solving, training and monitoring of employees and sub-contractors.
Project Manager/Supervisor
Ash has over 20 years of combined experience in Supervisory roles, as well as plant operator roles. He thrives on the daily challenges that civil construction projects present and has previously owned his own earthworks business. He has gained qualifications and extensive experience for a large number of specialised skill sets. His expertise in Piling and sheetpiling is second to none and has many years under his belt in the operation of excavators, mobile cranes, grader, skid steer, rollers and backhoes.
Project Manager/Supervisor
Brendan brings valuable experience in project management and supervision having worked on multimillion dollar infrastructure projects. Brendan has performed the role of project manager for several years demonstrating his ability to oversee and coordinate complex construction projects. As a project manager, he understands the different stages involved in construction, such as planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Brendan's expertise in project management can ensure that the construction project is well-organized, stays on track, and meets the required standards and deadlines.
Site Supervisor
Mark has 38 years experience within the construction industry, having worked in Australia, China and The United Arab Emirates. This includes Civil Construction, Civil Marine, Mining Infrastructure, Bridge Works, Road Works, Industrial and Pipeline projects. This Diverse range of experiences has enabled him to advance and enhance his knowledge of construction systems, tehcniques and procedures. Mark is a hands on construction professional with a passion for a safe workplace who enjoys seeing the people he works with achieve the very best they can.
