Flinders Highway Strengthening & Widening – TMR
Removal and installation of 23 new culverts along the Flinders Highway.
Variation – Scrubby Creek Bridge
This Bridge is a 20m single span bridge constructed in 10 weeks to meet the specific requirements of TMR to be opened before the wet season.
Warrens Gully Pump Station – Lower Burdekin Water
Construction of a dual cell concrete pump inlet, valve pit and outlet structure, along with interconnecting MSCL piping, switch room and scour protection in the Burdekin River, North Queensland.
Approximate Contract Value $8 million
Burleigh Crossing Bridge – Richmond Shire Council
Design and Construction of a 180m span bridge to replace an existing causeway over Woolgar River, on Burleigh Yan Yean Rd, Burleigh. The project included driving of 50 x 20m piles
Approximate Contract Value $4.5 million
Mowbray River Pedestrian Bridge – Department of Industry Tourism Innovation and Development
Construction of a 6 span pedestrian bridge over Mowbray River, Port Douglas. The project included driving of 18 x 20m piles, construction of two crocodile viewing platforms and a series of pedestrian/bike ramps and pathways.
Approximate Contract value $2.8 million.
Flinders Highway Hughenden – Department of Transport & Main Roads
Replacement of 6 TMR Culvert Bridges at Hughenden. These culverts were constructed by using side-tracks to divert traffic during construction of the new structures and Road works. All redundant culverts were demolished and recycled.
Approximate Contract value $8 million with the works being completed ahead of program.
Springsure Bridges – Central Highlands Regional Council
Design and construct of 2 x single lane bridges across Meteor Creek, Springsure Rd, Rolleston. The project involved construction of 4 x abutments and wing walls, pile cap construction, construction of in situ 3 x 10m blade columns and transport and installation of 22m pre-cast decks, via 100t crawler crane.
Approximate value $3.5 million
Alderley Crossing Bridge – Flinders Shire Council
Construct of 6 span bridge across Flinders River, Dalkeith Rd, Northwest of Hughenden. Project involved construction of 14 x Ø1200 cast-in-situ piles, construction of in situ Ø1050 columns and headstocks and transport, installation and stressing of 18m pre-cast concrete deck units.
Approximate Contract value $4.3 million.
